The tour is aimed at the oldest part of the castle (gothic cellars, chapel, renaissance chambers (such as bedroom, dining room) and armoury.) In the tour, there are 93 stairs.
Cellar Rooms
Ground floor of the early gothic guard castle with a unique gothic vault, which has never been repaired, from the 13th century.
Hunting Hall
A room with hunting trophies and preserved timbered wall and a casette ceiling dating back to the time of the renaissance reconstruction in the middle of the 16th century.
Dining Room
A renaissance table set with pewteryware, wallcarpet from the turn of the 16th to the 17th century.
Study Room
An interior with renaissance furnishing, the oldest preserved book in Horšovský Týn from 1521.
Great Hall
It used to be a representation hall, nowadays, it is a picture gallery – paintings from the Venetian school from the 16th century and murals which were transfered.
Room in front of the chapel
A connecting room of the living wing and the castle chapel, paintings of the saints.
Castle chapel
An early gothic bishop's chapel built by the Burgundy build-workshop in the middle of the 13th century, unique gothic ribbed vault – pearl of the bohemian early gothic style, and murals.
